The original set of core single release dolls, except for Karina Koala, were released in a six pack “The Friendship Collection”. Merit Monkey from the fruit cart playset was included as instead of Karina Koala. A TV special titled “Finding Home” aired in November 2017 on Nick Jr. to kickoff the launch of these dolls and others from 2017.
The second set of core single-release dolls were released in late 2017. There are seven characters in the core set, including the first boy Enchantimals doll! Three characters in the set were released with larger animal friends and were priced higher and packaged differently as a result.
