Once upon a time lived a princess named Snow White with skin as fair as snow and hair as black as ebony. She was, said the magic mirror, fairer than her stepmother, the Queen. This angered the Queen, and she sent Snow White away to the forest, hoping to never see her again. However, the princess happened upon a cottage where seven dwarfs lived. She happily made her home with them until her stepmother, disguised as a peasant, poisoned her with an apple. She “slept” until a prince came to the forest, and awoke her with his kiss. They fell in love, married and lived happily ever after!
