Play Along
Play Along Toys was an American company based in Florida, established in 1998 and closing in 2009.
The company’s earliest success was their line of Britney Spears dolls – this would be followed by the release of licensed dolls for Mandy Moore, Aaron Carter and the Williams sisters. Over the company’s history, Play Along would create licensed products for properties such as Care Bears, Teletubbies, Cabbage Patch Kids and Lisa Frank, as well as doll lines for Disney Channel properties including Camp Rock and Hannah Montana.
In 2002 the company was acquired by Jakks Pacific and would continue to operate as a subsidiary of Jakks until 2009.
