The line-up was made up of eight dolls split across four different ‘stores’, primarily based on stores from Stardoll’s virtual shopping page Starplaza. The stores included Bonjour Bizou, Fallen Angel and Pretty ‘n’ Love, as well as a new store named Doll Space, each inspired by a specific style or subculture. The dolls stood at a similar height to standard Barbie dolls but had their own unique body sculpt with larger feet, sculpted on bras and underwear, and arms shaped to resemble the Stardoll virtual dolls. Three fashion packs were also released alongside the eight dolls.
The two dolls based on the Bonjour Bizou store in Starplaza reflect the store’s cosmopolitan chic – the pieces are elegant and sophisticated with a hint of formality and structure.
This store was specifically created for the Stardoll by Barbie line – Doll Space is said to be inspired by the style of Barbie itself. The line’s hallmarks include chic pops of colour and lots of sparkle, for a look that’s truly glam.
Perhaps the most distinct of the Starplaza stores, Fallen Angel is the haven for all things gothic and dark. Expect deep, rich tones alongside plenty of black, with spikier elements like studs, chains and buckles.
If sweet and girly is your thing, look no further than Pretty ‘n’ Love. Florals are a dominating feature of this line, along with a mix of hearts and earthier elements, plus some staple colours like pink and purple.

Two additional Starplaza ‘stores’ were planned to be represented in doll form. These would have been the formalwear-themed Voile and the high-glam streetwear inspired Rio.
Other releases that never made shelves include a Design Studio set and two additional fashion packs – it is unknown which Starplaza stores these would have represented.
