The Disney Store / shopDisney
The Disney Store/shopDisney was founded on March 28, 1987 with the opening of its first retail store at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California. It only sells Disney related items the majority of which are exclusively made and sold by The Disney Store/shopDisney.
The Disney Store rebranded to shopDisney in 2018.
It was renamed back to the Disney Store in 2024.
The Disney Store/shopDisney has released multiple doll lines over the years. The longest ongoing doll line is the Disney Classic Dolls which first released in the late 90’s.
Other notable ongoing doll lines include the Disney Limited Edition 17 inch dolls which first released on October 6, 2009 and the Disney Designer doll line which first released on August 19, 2011.
