On February 22, 2000, famed wedding dress designer, Yumi Katsura, held a collaboration event with the Sakura Wars franchise. The event culminated in a finale that featured the Japanese voice actresses of Sakura Shinguji and Maria Tachibana, portraying the characters themselves, performing a mock wedding while wearing Katsura’s designs. Numerous pieces of exclusive merchandise were sold at the event, including a pair of dolls using Sakura and Maria’s Full Action Doll Series bodies.
