This sculpt is a modified version of the 1971 Steffie face mold, released in 1998 for the Birthday Party line; which featured a blonde, brunette, and African-American version. The modification made to this sculpt is an open mouth, with a hole allowing for the function of blowing up the balloons that the doll comes with. These dolls also had a modified Shani body which had a hole to attach a small air pump into, and by squeezing the air pump, air would blow out of the mouth- thereby blowing up the balloon. This is the only line where the sculpt was ever used, and the dolls have no headmark.
