In 1995, Barbie’s younger sister Skipper was given a makeover with a brand new taller body sculpt and new face. This updated version of Skipper, referred to as “Teen Skipper,” was first introduced as the All Grown Up Teen Skipper doll in 1997. The face sculpt was used for Skipper and her friends Nikki and Courtney, and was used briefly in the Fashion Fever line in 2006. It is now mostly seen on collector dolls.
