Spin Master had a lot of new Unicorn Academy toys on display at the New York Toy Fair. Dollect team member xCanadensis got an up close look. Spin Master said any items not yet released have an expected release date of summer 2025.
Several of the 12 inch fashion dolls will be refreshed with updated clothing and new accessories. The unicorns for the 12 inch dolls will also be included in the refresh.
Rory & Storm will be getting added to the basic mini figure line-up and Ava & Leaf will be getting a Light Magic mini figure release. Many of the basic mini figure sets will be getting refreshed soon. A large mini figure playset of the Starglow Fountain and Stable will be released at around a $60 price point. The playset comes with a Wildstar mini figure, Sophia is not included.
Series 2 of the Baby Unicorn blind boxes is being worked on, shown in these pictures is series 1. Series 2 is planned to have more unicorns from the actual show. The plush unicorns seem to also be getting new releases, Leaf the unicorn has just been released in the larger 15 inch size. The main five unicorns were also shown in a new small plush size with fur manes.
