Sakura Best Friend Robot

Sakura: Best Friend Robot was a robot toy created by Bob Del Principe of Manley Toyquest in 2007 as a part of their larger Tekno line of robot toys. She was created as a part of the 2000s robot/electronic toy craze and was specifically marketed as one of the first robot dolls specifically designed for girls (preceeded by the Girlbot in 2001).

The doll had the ability to speak over 130 different phrases, including jokes, fashion tips, fun facts, and fortunes. When placed on her scooter, she could perform five different dances.

Sakura stands at around 12” tall. She comes with a remote controlled scooter for her to ride and dance on, a flower bouquet for her to hold, and a key and keychain that can be used to record and security lock secrets.
