Two 11 inch dolls based on Australian singer and actress Kylie Minogue were released in early 2004 by Jakks Pacific.
Each doll is dressed to match a real outfit worn during Kylie’s Fever era: one from a performance at the 2002 World Music Awards, the other from the KylieFever2002 tour. Both of the looks were designed by Dolce and Gabanna. It is speculated that the doll’s face sculpt was based on a scan of the singer’s real face – the stamp on the back of her head is marked 2003, leading many sources to list the dolls as being released in 2003, though online forums and Getty Images indicate the dolls were unveiled and released in early 2004.
In addition to the Jakks dolls, Kylie would receive a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll in 2024, based on the outfit from the music video for Padam Padam, with a mass-produced Kylie doll slated for release in 2026. In 2013 a Barbie Gold Label doll designed by The Blonds wears a replica of the gold corset look designed for Kylie’s music video for Get Outta My Way, though the doll is not specifically modelled after the singer.
