Introduction
Glo-Up Girls is the first original doll line created by Far Out Toys, an American toy company. Glo-Up Girls began in 2021 and its second series released in 2022. It is currently unknown if the line is ongoing or cancelled. Glo-Up Girls is inspired by “glow up” and makeover content on social media and is also (seemingly in name only) based on “The Glo Show”, an influencer show created by Far Out Studios:“The GLO Show follows the adventures of six, real-life social media stars living in the GLO House — a central location at Vaquero Resort from which the crew will create and share exclusive content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Dai Time, Sicily Rose, Paige Taylor, Rachel Brockman, Madi Filipowicz, and Makenna Kelly (aka Life with Mak) will invite audiences to #ShowYourGLO through interactive challenges inspired by the GLO-Up Girls dolls.” –The Toy Book (archived link)

Nail colors can be changed with different water temperatures.Series 2
Series 2 was released in 2022. Dolls now include two pairs of shoes, a cardboard frame craft, (more)face stickers and hair gems as opposed to a second outfit and self care accessories. Nail colors can be changed with different water temperatures.Prototype
Prototypes of Series 1 Glo-Up Girls dolls were shown on social media and at toy events prior to their release. Dolls have different faces and wigs as opposed to rooted hair.
