Most of my Bratz dolls are from my childhood. Ever since I was a kid I always liked dolls with BIG heads ? Also my mom really liked their aesthetic ? and together we often browsed the internet and especially the second hand market. Unfortunately, the Bratz dolls were never widely sold here in Czech

And she’ll be the starter of my collection because I’m in love with her and this doll line already! When I was little I always wanted a doll with this skin complexion because it reminded me more of my family. Crazy that at the age of 22 I finally got one.❤️? (Ignore the messy background, I still have to clean up) ?❤️

Few days back I got my #Yuiyui and decided to buy her one of the #Licca clothes sets – the school uniform. The #Licca dolls have pretty “rough” bodies, especialy the legs. That’s why I decided to change the body, so Yuiyui can be more posable. As a final touch I gave her these two

JHD Fashion dolls – they are a chinese fashion dolls similar to Integrity Toys or Poppy Parker dolls. I was personally never really into Integrity dolls due to their “pissed off”/”mature” face look. When the Barbie movie dolls were first released, I noticed that the bangs of the “Perfect Day” doll were not movie accurate, so i fixed that. While they are not completely accurate to the films curtain bangs (because i simply do not have that talent), They’re still superior than the bangs she she originally had when I first got her (They were genuinely appalling in my opinion, I will include a picture below of what they looked like beforehand). ? I used some cheap gel from target to alter her bangs and make them more presentable, and finally added a petticoat to give her dress some flare. Im very proud of how she turned out. ?

The incredible success of Takara’s doll line without a doubt inspired the creation of the CharmyTwin dolls which then in turn led to the creation of Korea’s current most popular fashion doll Mimi! However, I personally think that using the term “Licca-clone” to describe either of these dolls is completely inaccurate when Mimi is really a clone of Anna and Anna, from what I can tell, is not a clone at all.
