Alpha Group
Alpha Group is a Chinese company based in Guangzhou, and established in 1993 under the name Auldey Toys.
Audley would start as solely a toy company before establishing its own animated division in 2004 – the company would be rebranded to Alpha Animation and Toys, with the Audley name still being used in the toy division up until 2016. They would acquire Chinese animation companies Mingxin Chuangyi Cartoon and Creative Power Entertaining in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Alpha would open a product design and marketing office in the US in 2016, in addition to animated and live-action film studios both based in Los Angeles. Alpha’s UK division would open in 2017, debuting at London Toy Fair two years later in 2019.
Alpha’s original toy and animated properties include Super Wings, Airnormous Petronix and Rev & Roll, as well as having produced licensed products for properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants, WWE, Chuggington and Rainbow’s Regal Academy.
