Isabelle Palmer was girl of the year 2014, the same year that the historical dolls underwent the BeForever rebranding, and one of the half dozen Girl of the Year dolls to have a companion movie and mini doll before both the movies and the mini dolls for girl of the year were discontinued.
Isabelle is the second Girl of the Year to feature ballet (the first being Marisol Luna, Girl of the Year 2005.) Her story follows her acceptance into a high end dance school and finding her place there with the help of her older sister and her favorite Prima Ballerina, in spite of crippling anxiety and a feeling of not belonging.
