Some Luciana dolls were produced with the thinner lightweight body fabric and lower quality eyes that gaze downward (first release and Costco giftset) while later production dolls have the heavier body fabric and high quality eyes.
Luciana Vega was not only the second fully Latina girl of the year (she is Chilean), she was also the first true STEM girl of the year, with an interest in astronomy and going to Mars. Luciana’s stories address her desire to be a leader and travel to Mars as well as her difficulties with anxiety in the process.
