Once upon a lovely spring day, a magical songbird flew into Barbie doll’s hand and began to sing for her. “How do you do,” whispered Barbie. “Your song is the sweetest I’ve ever heard!” “Thank you, it is an honour to sing for one as lovely as you,” said the bird with a shy smile. Barbie could see that he was a little sad. “What’s wrong?” she inquired with a tender tone. “Well you see,” said the bird, “my dearest wish is to sing for the children of the world, but so far I have not met a single child.”
“Well I know lots of children who I’m sure would love to hear you sing,” said Barbie with a warm smile. “Just come with me!” Ever since that day, Barbie and the songbird have remained very special friends. Now the songbird is just waiting to become your special friend and sing for you too!
