Back of the Box:

City Seasons is a very special collection of dolls in exciting, contemporary fashions. With all the realism and fashion details you love, this series features Barbie in a fascinating city each season wearing a stunning outfit that epitomizes the beauty of that time of year.
It’s the beginning of spring and Barbie is grateful for this break in her busy day to attend the Annual Springtime Picnic at the park in downtown Tokyo. Each Spring, a special place is cordoned off under the cherry blossom trees in the heart of the city where everyone takes a break from their busy work day schedules to sip hot Japanese tea, nibble on tasty sweet cakes and celebrate the joy of springtime! Looking sensational in her cream colored suit and wide brim hat, Barbie rushes toward the park as the gentle fragrance of cherry blossoms grows stronger with every step.

Stock Description:

Presenting a vintage face sculpt Spring in Tokyo Barbie. She is a collector’s dream-come-true with the same lovely vintage face sculpting and beautiful face paint used for the original #3 Barbie doll from 1960! Peeking out from underneath the netting of her wide-brimmed hat are those famous side-glancing eyes, blue irises, and gently curved eyebrows. Her delicate lips form a shy closed-mouth smile and are highlighted with soft pink lipstick. The fashion, a classic cream-colored suit from the wonderful City Seasons Collection, goes perfectly with her sophisticated vintage look.

Notes:

This doll is a variant of the standard Spring in Tokyo doll, and was available exclusively online in the US.
