This year, Barbie is going girl-glam pink as the third collectible Barbie doll in Mattel’s series featuring Barbie dressed in a stunning fashion ensemble that celebrates the year. The series began in 2000 to commemorate the first year of the millennium. Beautiful, elegant and glamorous, this year’s Barbie doll commemorates 2002 with a sparkling, strapless pink dress that is adorned with pink ruffles and feathers, a coordinating pink “faux” marabou stole, full-length pink gloves and pink Mary Jane high heeled shoes. Barbie doll also wears rhinestone-studded earrings, and is further styled with a long, straight elegant hairstyle. To complete her look, she wears a necklace that commemorates the year by spelling out “2002.””
