The Secret Spells line was released by Mattel in 2003 and featured three dolls: Barbie, Christie, and Kayla. The line’s gimmick is mixing a “magic potion” that can then be consumed by the user. In this line, Barbie and co. are mages called the “Secret Spell Girls” who masquerade as ordinary high school students during the day.
