First introduced in 2009 with the Kentucky Derby Barbie, the sculpt was popularized by Aphrodite Barbie, giving the sculpt it’s name. It is sometimes referred to as the “Open Mouth Mackie” sculpt, as it is a modified version of the original 1991 Mackie face mold.
