Here is an archived capture of the online listing for the doll on the original Barbie Collector website, which has the doll’s description, release date, designer, and original retail price (though it was on sale at the time). And also some pictures of the actress who plays the character of Melanie Danield – Tippi Hedren- at a signing, as well as “The Birds” 45th anniversary screening at The Edison in Los Angeles with the designer: Bill Greening. There are still many dolls with her autograph in circulation.
