In 2014 Mattel debuted a new playline sculpt for Barbie, dubbed the “Millie” face mold, first used for the Cut ‘n Style Princess Barbie in 2014. This mold is noticeably more youthful than the previous standard CEO sculpt. The Millie face has remained the most widely used face for Barbie as of 2024.
The following year, in 2014, Mattel introduced a collector version of the Millie sculpt, slightly smaller in size than the playline sculpt.
In 2015, Mattel also introduced a version of the Millie sculpt with a closed mouth.
