Inspired by the ‘Golden Age’ of Hollywood, this collection of Barbie dolls came out in 2000 and featured 5 separate looks. Each depicting a different glamorous aspect of the luxurious lifestyle of the typical movie star of the era, Barbie dons gorgeous gowns and swimsuits. Beginning with the “Hollywood Premiere,” and ending with the “Cast Party,” the series tells the story of a movie star’s journey through the movie-making process. Each doll has the same face mold and body mold, and seems to be the same “Barbie” throughout.
