Maison Battat Inc (or simply Battat) is a Canadian toy company based in Montreal, founded in 1897.
The Battat name is used for their extensive line of preschool toys – which also includes an educational line – in addition to its use as the company name. Outside of this brand, the company produces a wide range of toys including vehicles, arts and crafts, dolls and animal toys. One of their most well-known brands is their Our Generation line of 18 inch dolls, as well as their B Toys line predominantly aimed at babies and toddlers.
According to the company’s website, Battat’s products are sold in over 70 countries, while still remaining a family-owned company. In 2022, they announced their intention to expand into TV, with the launch of Battat Entertainment and the pitching of at least three series based on their toy properties.
