The 10 inch dolls were one of the two scales of dolls launched as part of BFC Ink, alongside the 18 inch dolls. The dolls featured painted eyes and seven points of articulation – the standard neck, shoulder and hip joints as well as ankle joints.
There were a total of ten 10 inch dolls released across two waves, each featuring the five lead characters. The first wave was released in 2009, while the second wouldn’t release until 2011 in various discount stores (it has been speculated that poor sales of the first wave led to this decision). An third wave was also planned, which would have introduced a new character, but this was left unreleased.
