Disney Designer

Disney Designer is a doll line created and sold exclusively at the Disney Store (and its website ShopDisney. Some releases are sold in the Disney Parks stores, most have limited international distribution (specifically to Canada, Europe, Shanghai and Japan <b(fact check?). A few releases are exclusive to D23 Expo, an official Disney fan convention held in Anaheim, California every two years. The most recent was held in 2022.
The Disney Designer dolls have two categories: Designer Collection and Designer Fairytale. Designer collection refers to designs that are not seen in the source material for the characters. Designer Fairytale refers to designs that are fancier versions of outfits from the source material for the characters. A new line started in 2022, simply titled “Collector Dolls” depicts concept art versions of the characters. Since these dolls are very similar to the Designer dolls in both price, size and quality, they will be included in this section for now.
The Disney Designer Collection dolls have been releasing every year since the inaugural line (pictured above) which was released in 2011. There is at least one doll of each Dinsey Princess with other characters included occasionally.
The original retail cost of this collection was $59.50 for the 2011 Disney Princess Designer Collection but has steadily risen to $129.99 for the Ultimate Princess Celebration dolls (2021-2022).
