Disney Limited Edition is a doll line created and sold exclusively at The Disney Store. They are available to be purchased online on shopDisney or at physical Disney Stores and the Disney Parks.
A few releases are exclusive to D23 Expo, an official Disney fan convention held in Anaheim, California every two years. The most recent was held in 2022.
Designed by Disney artists, the dolls feature; deluxe fabrics, embroidery, rhinestones, rooted hair and eyelashes. Each doll is approximately 17 inches tall.
The dolls are sold in limited quantities ranging from edition sizes of 1 to 9,600 and cost from $99.50 to $30,000 USD. However, most releases have an edition size of around 5000 units with a retail cost of $99.50-149.99 USD.
The line began with the release of Snow White on October 6, 2009.
As of December 2023, 132 dolls have been released.
