Giochi Preziosi S.p.A. is an Italian toy company founded in 1978. Giochi Preziosi began releasing Winx Club dolls in 2004 to coincide with the launch of the show. They continued this contract through one major redesign until Rainbow took over with their own version of the Winx Club dolls, the Witty Toys dolls.

Old Giochi Preziosi
“Old Giochi Preziosi” refers to the original run of Winx Club dolls by Giochi Preziosi (2004-2008). These dolls were created for and released in Italy. Dolls are very large and Giochi Preziosi made the most different characters out of any line of Winx Club dolls, including all of the Main Cast, the three Trix, Six Andros Mermaids, Two Specialists and many of the Pixies from Season 2. This series is also unique in that the majority of lines include all six of the main cast members (or five in the case of lines prior to season 2). In 2007 the dolls were redesigned, seemingly to match the 3D animation of the Secret of the Lost Kingdom movie. The redesigned dolls will be referenced herein as “New Giochi Preziosi”. A few “Old” Giochi Preziosi dolls did continue to release going into 2008.2004
