Judith Corporation was the company that distributed pregnant 11.5” fashion dolls in the United States beginning in 1991. The dolls were sold by FAO Schwartz. The dolls had previously been released in Europe by Danish manufacturer Villy Nielsen APS.
A blonde Judith doll from the Toy Museum in Prague, Czech Republic is often used to illustrate “pregnant Barbie” in articles but Judith Corporation was not affiliated with Mattel or Barbie. This is most likely due to poor labelling of a series of photographs available on the stock photo website Alamy.
