Introduction
Kitten Catfé is a 2020-introduced line of collectible surprise reveal toys by Jakks Pacific. Designed to appeal to the cat café trend of the 2010s and early 2020s, the line combines themes of cats, beverages, and sweets.
The primary focus of the series are the Purrista Girls, a line of 5-inch anthropomorphic mini dolls sold in blind boxes resembling various drink cups. The cups are food-safe and can be used for cold beverages once the contents have been removed. A total of 60 dolls were released across 5 series between 2020 and 2021. The first two waves of dolls included a unique drink recipe on the back of each character card.
In addition to the Purrista Girls, the Kitten Catfé line also included an assortment of plush toys and beaded bracelet kits featuring spherical cat characters called Meowbles.
Purrista Girls Mini Dolls
The Purrista Girls dolls stand roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and have 5 points of articulation. The dolls have removable tails for easy dressing. The hair pieces of the dolls in waves 1-4 are also removable and can be interchanged between dolls.
