In early 2026, Kmart released a line of Sanrio fashion dolls based on the Hello Kitty and Friends license. These were budget dolls designed to be sold exclusively through their Australian locations. The dolls are original characters and come with figurines based on the Sanrio mascot they’re themed after. A total of 7 dolls have been released.
Notably, these dolls use the same head and body sculpts as Kmart’s Dark Academy line that was released around the same time.
