Presenting the evil reborn…Krypt Kiddies.
Krypt Kiddies is a series of reborn baby dolls inspired by horror and demon aesthetics. The line began in 2002 as handcrafted pieces made and sold online through Ebay by husband and wife team, Ed and Rita Uhl. A mass produced line was later released in 2004 under the company name, Uhl House. The first three series were sold exclusively through Spencer’s throughout the mid-2000s. For the fourth series, which was released many years later in 2014, the line shifted back to online sales through their own official store. A total of 25 dolls have been produced.
Over the years, the couple has sold and produced countless OOAK dolls as well as personalized commissions. While this page will only list the mass produced line, users are free to share personal content of these dolls as well.
Dolls
Each doll stands at around 15 inches and have the basic five points of articulation. The first three series were sold exclusively through Spencer’s and retailed for around $29.99 USD. They came with reborn certificates that detailed the character’s backstory and cause of death.
Series 1
Series 1 released in May 2004. Each doll came with an additional baby bottle accessory. The bottles were designed with a fake blood effect that has mostly dried up and faded over time. It is extremely difficult to find even new in box bottles with the blood still intact.
Series 2
Series 2 released in 2005. Rather than baby bottles, each doll came with a rattle.
Series 3
Series 3 released in 2006. Included accessories shifted back over to the bloody baby bottles from Series 1.

Series 4: Back From Hell
After a seven year hiatus, Series 4 was first unveiled at Comic-Con Philadelphia 2013. The dolls were presented at various toy and trade shows before formally releasing on October 27, 2014. The brand is now sold exclusively through the official Krypt Kiddies online store and retails mostly for $75 USD with just one doll in the series going for $150 USD. The dolls no longer come with additional accessories, and the packaging shifted over to see through plastic tubes rather than the original cardboard boxes.
Media
Uhl House created three short films based on the Krypt Kiddies. Two stop motion shorts were made completely independently by Ed and Rita themselves. One 2D cartoon was made in collaboration with independent animator, Cokelogic.

Additionally, in 2006, a single issue comic was released under the independent publisher, Twisted Gate. It was written by Chad Lambert and illustrated by Samuel L. Galentree. This comic was distributed exclusively at the 2006 New York Toy Fair with only around 300 copies printed.
