Larvie is an artist-produced project created by Oscar Moreno (or American Toycoon)in 2021. The first Larvie dolls were created in 2023 and were funded using Kickstarter.

Dolls
Number 1 Larvie
The first Larvie dolls were produced and released in 2023. There were several hundred dolls available through the campaign. Extras were available through the online and in stores at SOAP PLANT / WACKO located in Hollywood, California. Extras were sold through the same retailer at the Larvie Release Party Saturday November 18, 2023 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Due to popular demand a second run of the Number 1 Larvie dolls began on November 14, 2023 through the crowdsourcing platform, Indiegogo. An archive of the Indiegogo campaign while it was live can be found here.
On February 27, 2024 a Kickstarter for a new Larvie with red hair was launched. Three fashion packs were also part of the campaign.
In February 2025 a new campaign started for Bubble Cut Larvie, Fruit Fly Midge, and an additional 3 fashion packs.
On February 10, 2026 a fourth campaign was launched for Maggot-nificent Larvie and another 3 fashion packs.
