Between 2002 and 2010, McDonalds Happy Meals featured a few different lines of miniature Madame Alexander dolls. They stand at approximately 5 inches and use sleeper eyes, with similar articulation to the 8 inch dolls, of which they resemble. They have a mixture of clothing and sculpted details, and many of the girls have brushable hair. Hats and head accessories are not removeable and hide the thinly rooted hair.
Although these dolls were Happy Meal toys (and are most commonly found this way), some images exist online of boxed sets for the earliest waves. It is unclear how these were distributed.
