The Scaris: City of Frights doll line was released between 2012 and 2013 as a tie-in to the animated film of the same name. It is composed of a single doll line in multiple waves comprised of 12 dolls and 2 playsets.
The first wave consisted of Skelita, Jinafire, Rochelle, Clawdeen, and Frankie, and was released in 2012. These dolls were of slightly higher quality and featured custom suitcases for each doll with functioning wheels and a collapsible handle. A cafe and a convertible were also released as playsets.
The second wave consisted of Draculaura, Abbey, Deuce, and Ghoulia, and was released in 2012 as budget dolls with slimmer packaging.
The third and final wave consisted of Catrine, Lagoona, and Cleo and was released in 2013. Catrine was a Walmart exclusive. Lagoona and Cleo were a Toys R Us exclusive and came bundled as a two-pack.
