Introduction

Novi Stars were an American line of fashion dolls released by MGA Entertainment in 2012. The line focused around a group of alien girls who land on Earth and aspire to be like humans. The line was discontinued in 2014.

Information

Novi Stars are highly stylized dolls with large heads, inset eyes, and small torsos. Their articulation is limited. Each doll had a special feature promoted on her box, as well as a bio revealing details about the character. The handle on each dolls’ box was advertised to become a headband for the owner. Each doll came with a glow-in-the-dark stand and a pet. A short series of webisodes and a music video were released to promote the brand.
