Wanna learn how to do McKeyla’s Glue Tattoo experiment? We’ve got all the details you need:
What you’ll need for this experiment:
- The 8 stencils, paint bucket and paintbrush from McKeyla’s Glue Tattoo set
- School glue
- Corn starch
- Tape
- Glitter
- Food colouring
Let’s begin!
- Use the paint bucket to combine: 2 Tablespoons of washable school glue, 2 Drops of food colouring and 1 Teaspoon of cornstarch
- Gently remove the stencil from the backing. Place the stencil over the area you want to design and tape down if necessary.
- Swirl the paintbrush in the bucket and paint over the stencil on the area you want to design.
- Remove the stencil and add glitter on top of the design.
- Avoid touching the design for 15 minutes until completely dry. Dust away excess glitter once dry. Then, enjoy your design!
- Once you are ready to remove the “tattoo,” peel it off. The color from the glue mixture will leave behind your design!
Important information:
- Do not apply glue on face.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use.
- Remove glue mixture and glitter from your body with water and mild hand soap. If glue remains, use an oil-based lotion to gently rub it off.
- Discontinue use if irritation or rash develops.
- Keep food coloring away from clothing to prevent staining.
- Colour transfer may occur from food coloring onto skin.
- In case of eye contact, rinse eyes with plenty of water.
- Mixture may not be completely removed from the inside of the paint bucket or brush after washing.
- Rinse the bucket and brush with warm water and mild dish soap. Wring out the brush bristles with a towel.
- Gently wash and rinse the stencil with warm water and mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly before reusing.
- Do not pull or tear the stencil.
- Air dry the bucket and brush in a well ventilated area before storing.
