Project Mc2 is a team of super-smart and seriously cool girls who use their love of science and their spy skills as they go on missions for the secret organization, NOV8 (that’s “innovate!”). They’re real girls with real skills ready to take on anything. Watch new episodes of the Project Mc2 original series, only on Netflix! Meet Ember Evergreen, earthy scientist and newest member of Project Mc2! Plants are her passion. Her green thumb can transform a desert into a jungle with just one touch and a little Southern know-how. She’s a force of nature! Now you can perform a cool S.T.E.A.M. experiment at home, just like Project Mc2 Earthy scientist, Ember Evergreen. Make your own lip gloss using household items again and again. Create a fashion reaction when you mix two household items (eye shadow and coconut oil) to create a stunning, unique lip gloss powder! Coconut oil (it really does come from coconuts) can also be used to bake bread, make pizza crust, or even as a substitute for nuts! Once you’ve mixed your concoction thoroughly, press it into the makeup compact. Apply some clear lip gloss to your lips, gently dab the lipstick powder on, and check out your new look! Experiment with new fashion reactions by mixing different eye shadow colors together!
- As seen in the Emmy-nominated Netflix original series — the girls are ready to rock out on their next secret spy mission. Going undercover never looked so rock and roll!
- Fully articulated premium Ember Evergreen doll brings her natural flare to the stage in her faux (obviously!) leather jacket with floral print, gold screen print denim skirt, and floral rose colored sunglasses.
- Includes a fun science activity: make your own lip gloss again and again with household items

Wanna learn how to do Ember’s Lipgloss experiment? We’ve got all the details you need:
What you’ll need for this experiment:
- Lip palette and lip brush from Ember’s Lipgloss set
- 3 different colour eyeshadows
- Coconut oil
- Corn starch
- Spoon
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Heat insulating gloves
- Microwave-safe bowl
- Rubbing alcohol
Let’s begin!
- Place one eye shadow in a microwave-safe bowl and crush it into fine powder using the back of the spoon.
- Pour a spoonful of coconut oil and 1/2 teaspoon of corn starch. Blend the mixture well.
- Microwave the mixture for 15 seconds to melt the mixture. Always wear heat insulating gloves, as contents are hot.
- Wipe the palette clean with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Then, pour the mixture inside one of the flowers on the palette. Repeat the steps for the remaining two eye shadows. Clean the bowl before starting on a new colour.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until it hardens.
- Remove from refrigerator. Then, rub with the lip brush and apply. Apply all three colors for colorful lips.
Important information:
- Do not allow the lip gloss to come into contact with your eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse eyes with water thoroughly.
- Do not blow the eye shadow powder at people, pets or their eyes.
- Always wash your hands before and after working with the lip gloss.
- Discontinue use if irritation or rash develops. Do not use on broken skin.
- Use a damp, clean rag and water to gently rub off the lip gloss.
- Colour transfer may occur. Keep lip gloss away from fabric, furniture and other surfaces.
- It is recommended to use the lip gloss the same day it is made. Discard any remaining lip gloss after use. Do not keep the lip gloss for a long period of time.
- Clean the compact with a damp cloth and air dry thoroughly before storing.
- Rinse the lip brush with water and mild soap. Then, allow it to air dry thoroughly before storing.
