Out of the Project Mc² doll assortments, the Dolls with Experiments are the more expensive of the bunch, hence why they are sometimes referred to as the Deluxe dolls. They feature the same head sculpts and inset eyes of the Core Dolls, but different bodies with eleven points of articulation: the standard neck, shoulder and hip joints, as well as elbow, wrist and knee joints (notably the lower legs are designed to be removeable at the knee). Each doll includes the brand’s signature flask-shaped comb as well as apparatus for a themed experiment.
Six waves of deluxe dolls were released from 2015 to 2018.
NOTE: The budget versions of the Wave 1 McKeyla’s Lava Light and Adrienne’s Volcano dolls with painted faces are included on the Budget Dolls entry and not this one.

Wave 3 (July 2016)
NOTE: The Camryn’s RC Hoverboard set was distributed in its own assortment, separate from the other Dolls with Experiments in this wave. However, the backs of each box clearly show the Camryn doll to be a part of this group, hence her inclusion within this section.
