In 2023 the action figure company, The Loyal Subjects, acquired the license to produce Rainbow Brite dolls and other merchandise. There is a sister line of Strawberry Shortcake dolls by TLS as well.
Dolls
The first Rainbow Brite doll by The Loyal Subjects were unveiled at Sweet Suite 2023. They were also shown with the rest of the lineup at New York Toy Fair 2023 later that year. The first wave of dolls was released in spring of 2024 in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Rainbow Brite.Rainbow Brite dolls by The Loyal Subjects (other than special playset dolls) come with ‘surprise’ accessories. Some accessories are guaranteed and some are not. See individual doll pages for more information. Although first shown at New York Toy Fair 2023, the next wave of Rainbow Brite dolls was announced for release in July of 2024 at Sweet Suite 2024. They were released in the fall of 2024
