Mara Pinkett
Don’t let the pink fool you. Mara Pinkett is all edge, angst and rock n’ roll. Mara gets lost in her drum solos; she loves to imagine herself as a cartoon character when she’s on stage performing. It really helps her stay animated 😉 But, Mara is definitely the prankster of the group. She thinks rock should always take you by surprise-even if you’re in the band. Lots of the band’s break-ups have been because of her on-stage antics-like the time she pulled a rope and a hundred stuffed animals rained down from the rafters. Mara is from Bushwick, Brooklyn and she grew up going to small grunge shows in the basements of vintage t-shirt shops-with her ultra-hip fashion designer parents, of course. Mara is loving her third year at Shadow High. After Neon Shadow broke up, came back together, broke up, and came back together again at the end of her second year, she knows they’re stronger-and more punk than ever.
