Simba
Simba is a German toy company based in Bavaria, established in 1982.
Simba as a company would merge with Dickie Toys in 1993 to form Simba-Dickie Group. Both the Simba and Dickie brands continue to exist under the united company – the fourth largest toy company in Germany, with offices based in France, Hong Kong and their main office in Fürth, Bavaria. The company has acquired several smaller companies over the years, including Smoby in 2008 and Jada Toys in 2019
Simba would introduce their long-running fashion doll Steffi Love in 1987, which would grow to include her little sister Evi Love by 1996. Other original properties from Simba include the Bear Family flocked miniatures from the 1980s, collectible Safiras figures from 2015, and catch-ball game Squap from 2009. The company has also produced licensed products for Disney, Hello Kitty, Peppa Pig and Nintendo amongst others.
