Starr 1979

Starr was a doll line manufactured by the American toy company Mattel from 1979 to 1981.

Starr and her friends Kelley, Tracy and Shaun all attend Springfield High School where they are involved in many activities including playing in their own band. The dolls featured fully articulated bodies with wires in the arms and came with many accessories like school books, instruments and snacks.

Mattel would reuse facemolds from the line for other dolls like Kelley’s mold would be used for The Heart Family’s Mom and Jazzie in the mid to late 1980’s.
