The Loyal Subjects is an American toy company based in Los Angeles, founded in 2008 by Jonathan Cathey.
The company is notable for their line of Action Vinyls, based on a wide range of properties including Fox Animation, The Lord of the Rings and WWE. The Loyal Subjects would partner with Bandai in 2019 to help further distribute their Action Vinyls series. The company has found further success in producing action figures, fashion dolls and miniature collectables based on beloved intellectual properties such as Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Carmen Sandiego and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They have also produced original properties such as the For Keeps fashion doll line.
They have collaborated several times with Hasbro to produce toys based on their properties, including surprise-boxed vinyl figures based on My Little Pony and Transformers. In 2024, The Loyal Subjects would sign a multi-property licensing deal with Hasbro to produce numerous new toys based on Hasbro properties including Popples, Playskool My Buddy, My Pet Monster and M.A.S.K. – they would also produce a new Jem and the Holograms doll line, the first new playline Jem dolls since the late 80s.
