Vi and Va was designed to celebrate Latin culture, with an emphasis on family – the lineup was made up of sisters Viviana (“Vi”) and Valentina (“Va”), along with their cousins Roxxi and Felicia. The dolls featured five points of articulation and came with accessories reflecting their interests and personalities (i.e. Valentina with a baking tray of empanadas, or Viviana with her guitar). While the line received moderate promotion in partnership with several Latina family bloggers, only one wave of the dolls would be released.
The Family – La Familia
Viviana
Viviana, a singer, is 16 years old. Vi is spontaneous and easy going. She’s passionate about sharing her love of music & she’s always ready to break out her guitar at family gatherings.
Valentina
Valentina, a cook, is 15-years-old. Va is not neat and organised. She loves learning to cook from her mother and grandmothers. She’s already perfected some awesome savoury family recipes like empanadas.
Felicia
The 17 year old cousin of Vi and Va, Felicia sometimes finds it hard to focus, but then, out of nowhere, she’ll have a creative explosion and come up with a genius idea for her next artistic masterpiece.
Roxxi
The 18 year old cousin of Vi and Va, Roxxi can be a bit of a klutz, but put on some music and she will suddenly become elegant and graceful with all kinds of dance moves, from ballet to hip-hop to salsa.
