Witty Toys is an Italian company founded in 2009 by the Rainbow Group in order to produce toys related to their media franchises. The brand has since grown considerably with products distributed to over 60 countries.¹
Ever since their founding they have produced Winx Club dolls.
This page covers the “New Witty” Winx Club dolls which feature the Jakks Pacific-style faces. The faces were changed during the airing of the fifth season of Winx Club because the creator of Winx Club, Iginio Straffi, preferred the look of the Jakks Pacific dolls.
The “New Witty” Winx Club dolls were produced for six years (2013-2019) and are by far the most numerous.
Although the “New Witty” dolls were primarily released in various European countries they have also created exclusive releases for other countries.
There was an attempt to bring the Winx Club franchise to the Chinese market during the “New Witty” era but the dolls were discontinued after 7 China-Exclusive series..
The New Witty dolls mainly represent outfits from Seasons 5 through 7 with some releases based on Seasons 1-4, a few Season 8 dolls and all of the World of Winx/Fairy Couture dolls. There were also a lot of original concepts and generic releases.
Critical reception of the “New Witty” dolls was largely negative though the era is noteworthy and unique in that almost every character in every major transformation until season 7 had some kind of release (Sophix is the only season 1-7 “full” transformation that did not see a release during this era though their wings were included with the China Exclusive Charmix dolls. Lovix Tecna and Aisha were also never released). There are NUMBER unique “New Witty” Winx Club dolls

can’t seem to click on a lot of these dolls
Because every doll has a picture, on my phone it takes a lot of scrolling to get to the bottom of the page. I don’t know how that is on the computer though, I haven’t tried it yet. It’s good that it’s very extensive, but wouldn’t it be more useful to have a picture of all the dolls in a particular doll line with the clickable character names underneath and only have the full picture(s) of the specific doll on the page of said doll? Only a suggestion for easily finding what page someone is looking for 🙂
