Hi, dollect friends! Today, I want to share my photo editing process. I love seeing behind the scenes stuff from artists, and while I’m not a professional in any way, I’m pleased with how my doll photography has improved over the years.
I just use my old android phone to take photos. Most are taken on the coffee table in my bedroom, with a west facing window letting in natural light. I do have LEDs that I use sometimes when I want to photograph after dark, but the natural light is way better. I use Snapseed to edit photos, and usually shoot them in a square aspect ratio for Instagram.
The prompt is “Mermaids in Space”. While I like to capture as much in camera as possible, really out-there themes like this need a lil editing. Here’s the photo straight off the camera:
