Trouble Uploading Pics
Hi y’all! I saw someone make a post about having trouble uploading pictures to their blog posts on here and thought I could offer some help!
If the image you’re uploading loads, but stays uploading and doesn’t actually appear in the blog that (probably) means the image is too large. To combat this I literally just screenshot the image, crop it, then use the screenshot image instead of the original and that’s been working for me.

Also if it doesn’t seem to fully upload – sometimes it is in the site files. Often I have to go and hunt for the images y’all upload to your posts because they get lost in the media folder for our site. I do think the main thing is that a lot of images attempted for upload are enormous!
Here’s what I’ve been doing. I take the pictures with my phone. Then I go into a email. I put the pictures I want then when I hit send the files ask what size I want. I put medium. I send a email to myself. The pictures aren’t the best quality. Which annoys me to no end because they’re compressed. But it allows me to get around not seeing them at all. Just know, I see when you can’t fully see an image. It bothers me but it’s the best I can do for now.
