japanese doll haul

After like a month of waiting my dolls from japan finally came and I’m so excited about them! here they all are

From left to right they’re respectively a Lost Angels doll by Volks, a Pureneemo and a Lil Fairy doll both from Azone.

I usually use zenmarket when buying dolls from japan because i find it easier to navigate, but for the Volks doll i had to use buyee because the seller was for some reason blacklisted by zenmarket. I decided to risk it anyway because she’s an absolute grail of mine and thankfully everything went well and she came home safely! She was listed as Sister Florence from the Lost Angels series, and indeed the box and the outfits and all her accessories (some of which were still sealed in their original plastic baggies when i got her!) were Sister Florence’s, but upon closer examination of the listing pictures before buying it i realized something was slightly off: the doll HEAD itself isn’t Florence’s, it’s another doll’s from the same series (who came out two years after Florence, in 2008 rather than 2006) who’s called Angel Reika! I still bid on it because honestly what i wanted really badly was all her nun outfit stuff and accessories, which are all in perfect condition, and Reika looks similar enough to Florence that i’m not mad at it (Florence has blonde hair and blue eyes and an overall softer expression in her eyes, while Reika has more pink tinted hair and purple eyes with a side glancing expression). If i ever run into a decently priced Florence again i will try to go for her but for now i’m really happy, I thought i would never get her at all because these dolls aren’t ultra expensive but they just hardly show up on the secondhand market at all.

The other two girlies i got from yahoo auctions through zenmarket. The Azone Pureneemo in the lolita dress is an ex cute doll called Koron Secret Wonderland, she originally came out in 2009 and i’m OBSESSED with her poofy dress, she’s super cute and it’s really interesting that she still has the older pureneemo body with the terrible shoulder joints that don’t move outwards.

The tiny little freak is an Azone Lil Fairy “Emm”, i find those dolls extremely charming because they have those weird proportions that are so cute to me. I love picking her up and posing her, her huge hands are so silly

These packages were really delayed and waiting for them for over a month with minimal shipping updates was pretty nerve wracking but i’m glad they got here safely especially considering that they were my own christmas and birthday presents ^_^
